The new generation of frequency controllers supports all types of serial communications (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, CANopen ..) and adapts fully to managing the current load. The aim of the manufacturer is to try to provide as precise control as possible without sensors, in an open loop and in this direction the development of new generations of devices is in progress. Of course, in applications such as cranes, lifts and cranes, closed-loop control with an encoder on the motor shaft is still irreplaceable.

Frequency controller is today a device that in conjunction with its software provides monitoring of all important drive sizes, so software diagnostics can identify an issue in the drive itself earlier and act preventively. Furthermore, the frequency controllers supplied and installed by EPS have the internal ability to program PLC functions, so we don't even need an external PLC for many applications.
