HR6S series
The IDEC HR6S Series is a high-performance, IoT-ready safety relay module designed to bridge the gap between robust machine safeguarding and smart manufacturing. By integrating advanced diagnostic capabilities with unparalleled flexibility, the HR6S series doesn't just protect your operators—it keeps your entire production line running efficiently.
Key Features
- Safety relay modules for IoT
- Advanced diagnostic and output functions: Predictive maintenance
- Connect to various input devices using a switch dial: Setting a start function, Setting an application function
-
A sealing strip to secure the protective
cover is included, preventing the dials
from being accidentally moved or settings from being changed. - Outputs can be expanded.
- LED display for viewing status at a glance
- Delay function
- Selectable terminal block (Push-in terminal block / screw terminal block)
HR5S Series
Select Category 2 compliant safety relay modules for low-risk machinery.
Key Features
- Non-redundant safety system
Regarding the introduction of safety systems for low-risk machines
Until now, it was difficult to achieve Category 2 control, and even for low-risk machines, redundancy (Category 3) control was the only option.
However, with the HR5S-type safety relay module, it is easy to achieve a Category 2 configuration, allowing for cost and labor reduction during implementation.
- About performance levels
The degree of risk reduction contribution of a safety system is classified by performance level.
A Category 2 configuration (architecture) can realize control systems with PL = c or PL = d.
Please conduct a risk assessment and confirm the required performance level (PLr) for the machine.
PLr = c exists particularly in packaging machines, food machinery, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and various other production machines and locations.
